IndieGoGo Fundraiser

(Donation of 60 Games)

In October 2024, we raised funds on IndieGoGo to send As Good As It Gets games to Board Games for the Better, a charity which:"...gifts board games and board game experiences to underserved communities to improve mental health, relieve stress, and provide opportunities for social engagement."

Thanks to the generosity of our two backers, Lou Pellegrino and Roger Barr, we raised enough to donate 35 games. This was rounded up to 60 games (2 boxes of 30 games each), which will be sent to Board Games for the Better.

Meeples for Peeples Donation

(Donation of ~1,000 Games)

In October 2024, we met up with Meeples for Peeples, a charity with a mission to: "...build better communities and foster creative learning by distributing board games to those in need including educators, youth service providers, military, health care providers, and others.

We donated ~1,000 games from our inventory, which Meeples for Peeples will use to bring some more joy into the world!

Giving to the Community

(Free Content for Everyone)

Since November 2023, we've been posting free roleplaying game content (worlds, campaigns, maps, player sheets, one-shot adventures, etc.), in 5e format, to www.DruidicDM.com!

This is an effort to ensure everyone that we can reach (e.g., with internet access), regardless of income, can have access to fun adventures for their friends/family. To play, simply download the SRD5 (a free resource, which will teach you how to play 5e), plus one of the "One-Shot Adventure" modules at www.DruidicDM.com/freebies. If you (or any players in your group) are new to 5e, I'd recommend starting with "Goblin's Birthday Quest," which was posted in November 2023!

Once you've gotten the hang of playing the One-Shot Adventures, check out the other types of modules: Full Campaign (gives the players a world to play in, but more flexibility to build out their own story in that world), Pre-Made Party (gives pre-made player sheets, but the Game Master can create the adventure), and World Map (simply a map that the Game Master can use as a starting point for making adventures)!

I'd also recommend checking out www.DnDBeyond.com, if you want to allow your players to create their own characters, rather than using pre-made ones from www.DruidicDM.com!

This resource is available for free, for everyone. Have fun! :)
